::One day a question mark appeared on the screen of my mac and I was unable to turn my computer on and access any of my files. I took it to this Apple store, my main need, before anything else, was to recover my precious files. I asked the technician if he thought they could save my data. The man I talked to told me that he would make a scan and identify the problem. I was told it would take three days, seven days later I still hadn't received any news (not even a phone call or an email), which didn't appear professional to me... I started going to the store and called them a few times, a few days later I finally received the results of the scan. I was told that the battery was the source of the problem... I wondered why a battery issue would make it impossible to access my data and asked if by changing the battery they would be able to access my files. The man told me "your data is lost", "we will change the battery and install a new system and everything that was on the computer will be deleted". I didn't trust this conclusion and didn't feel that the technicians were interested in helping me and go beyond these basic answers. I paid for the scan they had made and took my computer, determined to finding a more competent technician. I found iService, which was only a few blocks away. I talked to the technician who listened to me carefully and seemed very competent. His answers were much more precise and coherent. He told me he couldn't promise anything but would do his best to recover some or all my data. He offered to make an evaluation himself because he didn't find anything relevant in the report from the Apple Store. The next day he called me to confirm that he had been able to retrieve my data and would need some time to save it, install a new software and put it back, which he did. He also found the real origin of the problem, which was a small broken cable which was connected the Hard drive. He ordered a new one and changed it. Everything now works perfectly. Even though my battery is not new, it's still working very well without having had to change it. The amount I paid was very low, and the service was great. I feel very relieved and happy that I trusted my intuition, left this disappointing "Apple Store" and found a competent technician to help me save my data and fix the problem, while honouring the delays he announced.

::Pior atendimento APPLE! Havia travado meu iPhone, pedi ao atendente para me conectar no itunes em um dos MAcs e o mesmo gentilmente autorizou. Porém veio o gerente, passou uma descompostura no vendedor e nos olhou tão feio , que achamos melhor sair para não trazer problemas para o funcionário! O gerente alegou ser espaço de venda e estar pouco se importando com clientes apple. Isso foi no dia 28/09/2017
