  After five day, 400 km (approx. 250 mi) bicycle trip, a friend and I arrived at Hostel 101 Dalmatinac (on 26th June) at 21:40 and we found locked door with a sign: Working hours 0 - 24. I called a phone number written on the door and the lady answered, telling me that booking hours are over at 7 P.M. and that we have to go elsewhere! I went ballistic! The hostel was completely empty with empty parking lot. Rude and unprofessional behaviour.

  Very nice and newly furbished place located in the very centre of Vukovar next to a historic church. Modern and very clean shared rooms, free wifi, coin operated coffee machine, own parking lot - this place would definitely appeal to crowd much younger than me but in my case it was excellent choice and value for money because I was the only guest so had whole place to myself for a price of single bed :-) Very nice lady accommodated me without any problems although I called in unannounced as I googled this place out just five minutes before arrival. Got lucky as it was very busy one day earlier so if you want to stay here better make a reservation. Keep in mind that's a hostel not a hotel but in my opinion it's 5 star hostel nevertheless.
