  Great place, both for adults and kids. Some 50 meters east in Zvonimirova there is the children's library, where you can leave your kid for some time to read a book or play on computer, while you explore the big library. It has all the newest titles ranging from romances to hard core SF. Very pleasant people work there, and they are always ready to help you. 5+ stars.
