  Booked through ebookers for arrival at 10:30pm and had called if the late arrival is a problem. They confirmed it is fine and when I arrived, there was no one around. I ended up taking a cab and when I called in the day after, the guy was very rude and didn’t want to reimburse anything or forward me to his super. This is not how car rentals work. I will avoid this group in the future.

  I waited over 30 minutes at the desk when dropping off my car as there was no agent. There were probably 8 different rental car agencies that all had agents at their desk. All except Goldcar. I booked car with a comment that I would be driving into Slovenia. I was charged extra for this and the agent and I talked about it. He never mentioned that I have to buy a road sticker for the tolls. I was fined 180 Euro when leaving Slovenia for no sticker. This is a border 30 min drive away. I was charged equivalent 2 days extra car rental to drive there by goldcar and that did not include a toll sticker that was never mentioned to me.

  AVOID THEM! Absolutely the worst car rental company in Croatia and further. Car was full of dents, dirty and smelled like vomit. Guy at the counter was first missing in action for an hour while I waited to return the car. Then when he finally came back, he was rude and smelling like he has not washed himself for 10 years. No apologies for not being at the counter and even mad at me because I complained. As icing on the cake, today these liars and fraudsters charged my credit card 500kn (70 eur) for not returning car fueled up. Blatant lie and fraud. Car tank was full when I returned the car. Stay away from this rental car company. THE WORST RENTAL CAR COMPANY ever!
