  This was cemetery for old Split when it was very small town and this hill was large enough (and there was also much small one for local Jews who came here from Spain via Turkey on the Marjan hill). Now it is beautiful park with amazing view and excellent venue for summer concerts and also stage for local theater. And you can start walk along the sea from here and then all around Marjan hill.
